Mostafa Razzak is a Crosswind Communications Partner and JMR Worldwide Founding Partner. He brings a high-energy campaign style approach to Crosswind’s corporate and public affairs clients. Throughout his nearly 20-year career, Razzak, as a founder of his own agency as well as with the world’s largest independent firm, has guided successful global communications initiatives for technology, energy, corporate and telecom clients.
Over the past five years, Mostafa has developed and implemented successful campaigns on behalf of Zeacom, LogiSense, The MSPAlliance, Breakthrough Technology Group, Metering America 2011, Zodiac Interactive, NV3 technologies, dash Carrier Services, Integrated Broadband Services, X-Cast Labs, RNK Communications, Trendium, NextNine, SupportSoft, and Technology Marketing Corporation.
Previously, Mostafa led a team within Edelman’s New York Corporate and Public Affairs group. His primary accounts included iDA Singapore, EDS (Electronic Data Systems), Fujifilm U.S.A., Gemplus, Ovid, and the International VoIP (Voice-Over IP) Council. As team leader, his role was to provide strategic communications and messaging counsel to clients, direct targeted media relations activities and influencer outreach, crisis management and to coordinate internal business units, globally.
Mostafa, before his tenure with Edelman, served as the Director of Political Operations with Morgan, Meredith & Associates (MMA), a nationally recognized political consulting firm based in Northern Virginia. While at MMA, Mostafa directed the re-election campaign and fundraising efforts of Members of the House of Representatives, providing expertise in media strategy, direct mail marketing, grassroots coordination, campaign finance, event coordination, and online campaigning. Additionally, Mostafa worked directly with several of the most influential special interest groups, business constituencies and trade associations.
Mostafa started his career as a Development assistant with GBMC Healthcare, Inc., a leading health care provider in Baltimore, MD. His primary responsibilities were to help position GBMC as a leader in national health care trends, pitch story ideas for local print media, and draft feature articles for Resources, the GBMC Foundation magazine.
Mostafa is a graduate of Boston University.
